The Golden Hour provides photography services including wedding, portrait, editorial, and film photography. All photography services are subject to a separate photography contract signed before the session, which supersedes these general terms where applicable.
Booking a session requires a signed photography contract and a non-refundable retainer (typically 30-50% of the total package price). The retainer secures your date and is credited toward the total balance. Remaining balances are due 14 days before the session date.
In the event of severe weather, natural disaster, or other extraordinary circumstances, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.
Edited images are typically delivered within 3-4 weeks of the session via an online gallery. Wedding galleries may take up to 6-8 weeks. You receive a personal-use license for all delivered images, which includes printing, sharing on social media, and personal display.
Commercial use of images requires a separate commercial license. Please contact us if you need images for advertising, product packaging, or commercial publication.
All photographs remain the intellectual property of The Golden Hour. We retain the right to use images from your session for portfolio display, social media, marketing, and editorial purposes unless otherwise agreed in your photography contract.
You may not edit, crop, add filters to, or otherwise alter delivered images without written permission. You may not remove watermarks or copyright information from any images.
By booking a session, you grant The Golden Hour permission to use your likeness in photographs for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you wish to opt out of portfolio usage, you must note this in your photography contract before the session.
All content on this website — including text, photographs, design, and code — is the property of The Golden Hour and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without written permission.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, or other circumstances beyond our control that result in partial or total loss of photographs, our liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected session. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
We strongly recommend that wedding and event clients consider booking a second photographer as additional coverage.
