I'm Mara.
I'm a fine art and portrait photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. I shoot weddings, portraits, editorial, and personal work — anything where light and human connection meet.
I picked up my first camera at sixteen and never really put it down. After studying photography and art history, I spent a few years assisting other photographers before going on my own in 2019.

I work on both digital and 35mm film. Some moments deserve the warmth and grain of analog. Others need the precision of digital. Most of my work lives somewhere in between — warm, natural, and unhurried.
